Dan and Antonio bring deep domain expertise from decades of funding and operating financial-technology companies. Kazea is the partnership’s second fund, following the successful execution of SSV Fund I since 2023.
Daniel Bertoli
General Partner
Dan co-founded KAST, a pre-eminent, stablecoin-based, banking-platform. Previously he was partner at Quona Capital for Southeast Asia. Other leadership experiences include AC Ventures, Xiaomi, Thunes, Telenor, FSN Capital and McKinsey & Company. Dan holds a BSc from UC Berkeley and a MBA/MPP from Harvard University.

Antonio Echavarria
General Partner
Founder of SSV and ex-principal at Chiltern Street Capital. Antonio specializes in growth equity in emerging markets, with previous PE experience in LatAm at MAS Equity Partners. He serves on the board of Organization Corona (retail/industrial conglomerate) and is the chairman of Fundación Corona. Antonio holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from UPenn.
